Ian Evatt Interview On Bolton Wanderers 0-4 Huddersfield Town Defeat

It was an afternoon to forget for Bolton Wanderers, as they were subject to a 4-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield.

Wanderers were a goal down at the break after Josh Koroma’s strike a minute before the interval, before the side relegation from the Championship last term scored three unanswered goal to earn their third consecutive head-to-head victory at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

It continued Bolton’s torrid beginning to the League One campaign, and more pressure is piled on the manager, whom vows to turn round the fortunes of the Whites.

A distraught Evatt gave his verdict to Wanderers TV after the result.

I’m distraught, I’m devastated, I’m hurt. I can’t stand here and give you any answers that you probably want, that is not me or my team and that’s as far as it goes.

Despite the recent rut, Evatt remains “always determined”, as he hopes fortunes change.

I’ve had a tough journey in my life, I’ve been through some difficult things and this is as tough as it gets, and I’ve been prepared for it, so we’ll go away and think about what’s next.
