Yorkshire Teenager Preparing For Second Round Of The Uae Trophy Series
Sheffield-born Rowan Campbell-Pilling will head to the Yas Marina Circuit for the second round of the F4 UAE Trophy Series this weekend (5-7 December). Campbell-Pilling has been signed by Dubai-based Xcel Motorsport for the series after featuring in British F4 for two seasons and accumulating over 22 trophies.

In the early hours of Sunday morning local time in Las Vegas, the FIA stewards have disqualified the McLaren cars of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri from the results of the Grand Prix there after the usual post-race scrutineering checks found that both had failed to comply with the minimum height of the rear skid blocks.

The Formula 1 season continued this weekend in São Paulo, Brazil, and, after yesterday’s Sprint race and today’s Grand Prix around the sweeps of the legendary Interlagos circuit, it was McLaren’s Lando Norris who emerged with two victories and an extended 24-point lead in the Drivers’ Championship over teammate Oscar Piastri, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen still third.
