Cambridge Vs Bolton Match Preview

A huge game for Bolton to return to winning ways and crank more pressure on Portsmouth arises as Wanderers lock horns at Cambridge.

A 1-1 draw last time out against Barnsley wasn’t the desired result, but it was certainly better than it could have been as the Tykes took the lead before the character shown in many games this season by Ian Evatt’s men saw them get a point over the line.

It’s a result that momentarily takes Bolton out of the Top 2, below Derby and the leaders Portsmouth, but still, with games in hand and momentum, it’s a position they’ll be cherishing towards the climax of the campaign.

Ian Evatt’s side travels to the Abbey Stadium to face a Cambridge side who have hit form at the right time as they begin an ascent away from the dreaded line.

Wins over Fleetwood and Shrewsbury and two draws in between see the U’s unbeaten in four and facing Bolton at a great time. If one were on their home turf, they'd be confident of getting a result.
