Elio
Elio
Elio (PG)

From Disney Pixar, Elio is a brand-new cinematic creation following an eleven-year-old boy named Elio Solis who accidentally becomes the intergalactic ambassador of planet Earth, after many attempts – and now success – to contact aliens. Being beamed up to the Communiverse of aliens and mistaken as our representative, Elio is forced to form new bonds with these eccentric alien lifeforms and navigate an intergalactic community he never saw coming, despite calling out in the first place! Elio is a colorful, charming and poignant adventure, and a hopeful return to original project cinema-released filmmaking for Pixar studios. Starring the vocal talents of Yonas Kibreab, Zoe Saldaña, Remy Edgerly, Brad Garrett, Jameela Jamil, and Shirley Henderson.

28 Years Later (15)

Director Danny Boyle returns to one of his most ferocious creations, reuniting with original screenwriter Alex Garland to create this decades-in-waiting horror sequel. Intended as the first film in a brand-new trilogy of movies, and part filmed locally right here in Yorkshire, 28 Years Later tells the story of the rage-virus infected world decades on. As a group of survivors of the rage virus live on a heavily-defended small island. Until one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the mainland, where he discovers secrets and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other fellow survivors. Starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell and Ralph Fiennes, 28 Years Later may well be the most anticipated horror film in a generation.

From Wednesday 25th June

F1 The Movie
F1 The Movie
F1 The Movie (12a)

From the director of Top Gun Maverick comes this thrilling sports drama, that stars Brad Pitt as veteran driver Sonny Hayes, who is convinced to return to Formula 1 by a struggling team, which immediately causes friction with fellow hotshot rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris). This film offers an authentic depiction of the dangerous and enticing racing profession, as well as an inspiring story of generational clashes, aging and comebacks. F1 The Movie is already being called one of the year’s most entertaining and exhilaratingly hand crafted motion pictures.
