Two Jabs = Holiday Of A Lifetime!

Saga Holidays has pulled together a range for once-in-a-lifetime range of holidays for inclusion on its winter 2021/2022 itineraries.

But only those travellers who have had both Covid-19 vaccines will be able to make any of the impressive journeys.

They include Northern India with its palaces, forts and monuments, the quieter Eastern regions of Darjeeling and the Himalayas and the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.

Wildlife lovers are spoilt with choices from Guyana to the Galapagos, and those looking for sun and relaxation can choose European spots from Gozo to Sorrento.

Jaguars, otters, monkeys, toucans, sea lions, giant tortoises, iguanas, crabs, Komodo Dragons, hundreds of bird species and even the odd octopus form the wildlife spotting opportunities for three of Saga Holidays’ most exciting trips to Guyana, Ecuador and Indonesia.

In Guyana, travellers will stay in the pristine rainforest with its exotic wildlife (including 835 native bird species), tour the busy, interesting capital of Georgetown, visit the Kaiteur Falls and experience the Rupununi savannah. Guyana: Prices start from £4,749 per person for 15 nights per person, all-inclusive, for departures in January and February.

The once-in-a-lifetime Ecuador trip takes in the Andes with its circling condors, colourful textile markets, and the nation’s capital city of Quito before heading to the Amazon rainforest to meet the indigenous Añangu Kichwa community and follow the jungle trails in search of local wildlife. The final stop is the beautiful Galapagos Islands, with the option to hop between Santa Cruz and Isabela Island, or combine a hotel stay on Santa Cruz with a four-night cruise on M/V Galapagos Legend.

Chris Simmonds, Chief Executive Saga Holidays, said: “We know our customers are looking to book once-in-a-lifetime holidays after more than a year at home and trips to destinations such as Guyana, Ecuador and the Himalayas are sure to be just that.

“As our customers would expect, we take their health and well-being incredibly seriously. We’re taking a strong stand on vaccines, requiring all our guests to have had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine prior to joining one of our holidays and our dedicated health and safety team are liaising with our partners around the world on Covid-safe protocols.”

The safety and wellbeing of customers is Saga’s number one priority, which is why the tour operator is asking that all guests have both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine at least 14-days ahead of travel. This is just one of a number of measures the dedicated health and safety team have introduced as they work closely with our long-standing global partners, including the UK Government, on Covid-safe travel protocols. They are also monitoring the Covid-specific requirements of each destination and are committed to communicating them with customers ahead of departure.

The operator also offers a price promise, which means that should they ever reduce their prices or bring in a new special offer after a customer has booked, they will calculate the difference and automatically pass the saving back.

Customers can book now at saga.co.uk/holidays on 0800 300 500 or through their travel agent.
