Undefeated Sheffield prospect Dylan Trevor is set for a homecoming return this weekend as he steps back into the ring at Skate Central on April 24.
The 27-year-old, nicknamed “Tricky Trevaa,” brings a perfect 4-0 professional record into the bout, though he is still searching for his first stoppage victory. Despite that, Trevor remains relaxed about his progress, insisting he is focused on development rather than rushing results.
“I’ve never been happier,” he said ahead of the fight in Sheffield. “I love my life and what it has become since committing to boxing—I’m living the dream. The hardest part is the diet though, I’m a foodie.”
Trevor has deliberately prioritised gaining experience in the early stages of his career, believing that patience will pay off in the long run. While knockouts have yet to come, he is confident they will arrive naturally as he continues to sharpen his skills.
“I’ve been working on discipline and getting the rounds in,” he explained. “I’m very powerful and sharp, and when the time is right, the stoppages will come.”
Still learning his trade, Trevor is content to trust the process and the guidance of his team rather than seek a fast-tracked rise. “Every day is a learning day. I’m just trying to enjoy the journey and see what I can achieve,” he said.
Looking ahead, the Sheffield fighter has ambitious plans for an active 2026, with multiple bouts already lined up. “I’ve got two fights scheduled and I’m aiming for a busy year—hopefully five fights—and to start pushing towards belts,” he added.
After more than six months out of action due to cancelled and delayed shows, Trevor is eager to perform again in front of his home crowd. “It’s all I’m thinking about,” he said. “I genuinely cannot wait to be back in the ring. It’s going to be a good, good night.”
