The Shiiine On Weekender

The Shiiine On Weekender heads back to Minehead this November for its 11th year, bringing with it the biggest and most ambitious programme to date.

Spanning an entire weekend, the 2026 edition delivers a packed schedule of live music, DJ sets, comedy, exhibitions and special events—promising a standout celebration of indie, dance and alternative culture. This year’s lineup features the return of Happy Mondays, who bring their unmistakable energy to the Main Stage alongside Inspiral Carpets, The Farm and The Soup Dragons.

On Saturday, Feeder take top billing on the Main Stage, while The Twang make a long-awaited return to Minehead, having originally opened the festival back in 2015. The weekend also sees a reunion of the iconic Stourbridge trio—The Wonder Stuff, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin and Pop Will Eat Itself—with PWEI marking their 40th anniversary through a special celebratory set.

Hard-Fi make their Shiiine debut with their anthemic sound, while The Wannadies deliver indie-pop classics and Chapterhouse add their signature shoegaze textures. Dubstar reunite for a performance filled with refined melodies, and The Ordinary Boys are set to bring a high-energy show. Returning favourites include The Bluetones, performing Expecting to Fly in full, alongside The Wedding Present, Dub Pistols, The Boo Radleys, The Clone Roses and many more appearing across the weekend.

The much-loved late-night dance programme is back, with KKlass performing a special live set, Utah Saints bringing their high-energy sound and 808 State delivering a DJ set celebrating electronic music heritage. Greg Dread will also take to the decks for a Dreadzone DJ set on Friday night. New for this year are a range of curated stages and experiences. An Afternoon With Jim Bob sees the Carter USM frontman curate a stage featuring Interrobang and Wreckless Eric, alongside his own DJ set and talk. Meanwhile, Shiiine On Unplugged offers more intimate acoustic performances from artists including Badly Drawn Boy, Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Ian Prowse (Pele) and The Real People.

Comedy also plays a major role, with Dom Joly hosting a special 25th anniversary live show of Trigger Happy TV, featuring beloved characters like the Giant Snail, the Traffic Warden and the famous oversized mobile phone in a lively two-part performance.

Artist Pete McKee returns with a brand-new exhibition, The Boy With a Leg Named Brian, offering an immersive look at his 1970s childhood, accompanied by a live set from Everly Pregnant Brothers.

Fans can also look forward to the festival’s signature experiences, including Bez’s legendary pool party, an in-conversation session with Blur’s Dave Rowntree (who will also DJ), indie disco sets from Steve Lamacq and Andy Bush, and Alan Leach of Shed Seven hosting his ever-popular quiz and bingo—plus plenty more besides.

With every ticket including three nights of accommodation, Shiiine On Weekender continues to offer a unique festival getaway, complete with the comfort of your own bed at the end of each night.
