Raworths Salon North returns with star-studded line-up at The Crown Hotel.

The latest instalment of Raworths Salon North – dubbed the "night out for your brain" – comes to The Crown Hotel, Harrogate, on Thursday 4 June, featuring an all-female line-up of award-winning speakers.

Engineer, inventor and science communicator Dr Lucy Rogers will take the audience on a fast-paced journey through the hidden science of the sky, while historian and broadcaster Dr Kate Lister, host of the Betwixt the Sheets podcast, will lift the lid on history's most infamous royal mistresses.

Completing the bill is leading barrister Monica Feria-Tinta, an expert in international law described as one of "the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers" in the UK. Known as a barrister for the earth, she will explore how the law can defend nature and protect the environment.

The evening will be hosted by TV producer and presenter Natasha Knight, with each speaker delivering a 25-minute talk in an intimate cabaret-style setting. Audiences can also enjoy drinks from the bar and browse a bookstall run by local bookseller Imagined Things. The series has been voted one of GQ magazine's "Top 100 Things to do in the World."
