NICE One For Christmas - ICELAND

Jet2 has put its ‘Winter’ flights to Iceland on sale at one of the hottest times of the year because of surging demand for the bucket list destination.

After proving to be hugely popular with customers in Yorkshire last year, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of city breaks to Europe – Jet2CityBreaks - are giving Leeds Bradford Airport travellers the opportunity to experience the ‘volcanic island’ once again, after launching scheduled services to Iceland for Winter 24/25.

The scheduled flights are available at the best times to see the Northern Lights, and give holidaymakers the opportunity to book ahead. It is the earliest Jet2’s Iceland programme has ever gone on sale.

There will be twice-weekly flights (Wednesday and Sunday) from Leeds Bradford Airport to Iceland from 2nd October to 6th November 2024, and from 16th February to 2nd April 2025.

All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik are designed to coincide with various ‘must sees’ including, of course, the Northern Lights.

Thanks to its abundance of incredible sites, Iceland has continued to experience strong demand, with early and late Winter, as well as Spring, proving to be a particularly popular time for customers.

Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see.
