Aer Lingus Re-Connects UK Passengers To USA

UK travellers bound for Los Angeles can once again enjoy the benefit of US Immigration Pre-clearance before they leave British/Irish airspace, now that Aer Lingus has restarted direct daily flights from its Dublin base to West coast USA.

That means anyone arriving in America does so as a ‘domestic’ passenger – similar to being a US citizen - avoiding any lengthy immigration queues.

It is the first time since March 2020 that the Irish flag carrier has resumed the service, and the reinstatement of the DUB to LAX route will further supplement the airline’s US flight schedule. Operating as a daily service, UK customers can enjoy fares to Los Angeles, from £269 each way, when flying from Dublin (including taxes and charges).

And, by connecting to North America with Aer Lingus via its Dublin hub, UK travellers can experience the benefit of US Immigration Pre-clearance before they depart

The LAX route is part of Aer Lingus’ ambitious transatlantic network restart plans, as it continues to bring back a range of North American services, with Seattle and Miami to re-start later this year.

UK customers can fly to LAX from the below UK airports, via Dublin:
Heathrow
Gatwick
Birmingham
Bristol
Manchester
Leeds, Bradford
Glasgow
Edinburgh

UK customers can fly on 12 transatlantic routes via Dublin, including New York JFK, Newark, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington D.C., Seattle, Toronto, and Philadelphia, and to New York, JFK and Boston via Shannon.
