2025 Alston Live Festival
The lineup for Alston’s two day music festival is now confirmed. The event takes place over the weekend of 18/19th July at Tyne Willows Fields in England’s highest market town.
Headliners on Friday 18th are North East band Tarras supported by Plectras and Andy Fraser. Saturday 19th sees the return of Festival favourites Driven Serious supported by local heroes The Hilltop Hoolies. Other performers include surfer band the Spiratones, Hiroshima Twinkie, 99 Mr Benns, Molly Rhymer, and Border Reivers.
The more intimate Bar Stage will also run on Friday and Saturday featuring local musicians and performers from further afield, including Celia Bryce, Tom O’Donnel, Hurst, Flamenco guitarist Steve Sherris, and the Symptoms.
There will be poetry and comedy throughout the weekend from David Roe and Alex Pasley, alongside workshops, a licensed bar, food stalls and field entertainment.
Alston Live has been running for over a decade and, as well as supporting local performers, it has brought musicians from across the UK to the Northern Pennines. This year sees the festival in its original two day format and under canvas on Tyne Willow Fields, a welcome return after the disruption caused by the pandemic.
Camping and caravanning is available on site and is in easy reach of the town’s centre.
