Wizz Air Names 5 Destinations On UK Green List

Flights to five of the UK government’s ‘Green List’ destinations are being re-started by Wizz Air from May 17th.

For those who have been dreaming of that post lockdown getaway, tickets are available now on wizzair.com or the airline’s mobile app.

Whether it’s a cultural escape to the vibrant cities of Faro or Lisbon in Portugal, a relaxing beach holiday to Larnaca in southern Cyprus, an adventurous trip to Reykjavik in Iceland or a getaway to the Mediterranean peninsula of Gibraltar, Wizz Air will have a total of 80 destinations on offer from 11 UK airports.

And passengers can book tickets with confidence, thanks to the airline’s travel insurance package which includes Covid-19 cover* and WIZZ Flex. With WIZZ Flex, travellers can cancel their flight up to three hours before departure without any fee and receive 100% of the fare immediately reimbursed in airline credit. Wizz Air’s new travel insurance now covers Covid-19 related cancellations and medical related expenses whilst travelling abroad.

As all holidaymakers are still required to take a pre-departure PCR test before their arrival back into the UK, Wizz Air continues to offer passengers an exclusive discount on Covid-19 tests and certificates through its partnership with Randox Health.
