Viva New Build Ship Launches June 2021

River cruise specialist, VIVA Cruises, is currently building its first ship to join the company’s 10-strong fleet in June 2021.

Featuring hybrid technology, 95 cabins and suites, three different restaurants and numerous amenities, Viva One will journey along the Danube during its maiden voyage, travelling from Frankfurt to the picturesque German town of Passau between 26 June to 3 July 2021

Other ports of call include the German cities of Frankfurt, Miltenberg, Würzburg, and Nuremberg. The cruise is priced at €1,195 per person (approximately £1,012).

Viva One follows the recent re-launch of Viva Tiara and will be the second ship to sail under the company flag.

This latest vessel is the first ship in the fleet to use state-of-the-art hybrid technology including sulphur-free GTL (Gas to Liquid) fuel, which significantly reduces CO² consumption and emissions. Less plastic will also be used on board along with the introduction of more environmentally friendly materials.
