Tree-mendous Hospice Work By Miller Homes

Homebuilder Miller Homes is supporting Derian House Children’s Hospice by sponsoring it’s ‘Trees of Love’ campaign for the second year running. The company has previously built homes in Chorley and the surrounding areas, and continues to support the local community there even after moving on.

The trees have now been planted and will remain present throughout December, with locals being urged to visit on one of two open days, taking place on 17th December and 23rd December, 4pm-8pm. On the night, hot refreshments and treats will be available for sale.

The ‘Trees of Love’ will form a stunning visual tribute to those held closest to Derian House families, whilst also providing an opportunity for the community to thank hospice staff and volunteers for their hard work through these continues unprecedented times.

Mick Croskery, Community Fundraising Manager at Derian House Children’s Hospice said: “We’re so grateful to Miller Homes for once again supporting Trees of Love. Putting big smiles on small faces (as well as those who live in the local area) is a huge part of what we do at Derian House Children's Hospice and we really cannot thank Miller Homes enough for getting involved and helping to make this happen.”

Though Miller Homes has no active developments in Chorley at present, it is building high-quality homes not too far away at Montague Place in Clitheroe, Blackfield Green in Warton, and Millrose in Blackburn.
