New Italian Destinations Launch From Leeds Bradford Airport

Sicily and Sardinia have been added to Jet2’s flight destination list out of Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) starting Summer next year.

The addition of the two islands expands and Jet2holidays’ LBA Italian programme to six destinations and comes in response to strong demand.

The leisure airline and package holiday specialist will operate weekly Wednesday services to Sicily's Catania Airport from 4th May through to 26th October, opening up a range popular resorts on the east coast of the island.

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and is a well-established destination with UK holidaymakers, boasting everything from beach holidays to city breaks, culture, cuisine, dramatic landscapes, mighty Mount Etna, and stunning beaches.

Beach resorts on sale include Taormina, Taormina Mare, Giardini Naxos, Syracuse, Cefalu and Campofelice Di Roccella. In addition, packages are also on sale through Jet2CityBreaks to the historic city of Catania.

Sardinia flights will be offered each Wednesday into Olbia Airport from 25th May to 26th October, opening up the east coast of Sardinia and a range of resorts which host some of the best beaches in Europe.

Sardinia resorts on sale include Porto Cervo, Baia Sardinia, Budoni, San Teodoro, Cannigione, San Pantaleo, Orosei and Pittulongu, as well as city breaks to Olbia.
