Local Meat Company Celebrate 6th Birthday By Launching New Product

Tunstall Meat Company, based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, celebrates its sixth anniversary since opening in October 2018.
Tunstall Meat Company has been trading since 2018 under the direction of Robert Hendrix. Robert has had a full career as executive head chef for many years and was looking for a new challenge when he became part of the team at Tunstall Meat Company.
The butchers work closely with sister company Tunstall Road Farm, showing a wonderful example of ‘Farm to Fork’ methods and supporting small food systems. The farm is located just 5 miles down the road from the shop.
On the farm, you’ll find a mixture of breeds, including Belted Galloways, Hereford cattle, Hampshire Down sheep, and outdoor-reared Berkshire pigs. All the animals on the farm are native breeds.
Following regenerative farming practices, the farm focuses on soil health, high animal welfare, and producing top-quality meat products.
This year, Tunstall Meat Company has received three awards for its meat from the 2024 Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards.
