Little Alf & The Farm Yard Friends

Eight years ago, I started writing. I was just 16 years old with a head full of ideas and I remember sitting on the sofa with my laptop. I was always into books as a child and loved reading. I used to read the ‘my secret unicorn’ series by ‘Linda Chapman’. I had the full collection, as I love anything to do with horses.

When I was at school the author ‘Linda Chapman’ came to visit and I was very inspired; little did I know back then I’d be an author myself one day.

Little Alf was always the inspiration for my books. When I started a blog about him online at 16 years old, I used to write short magical stories about his adventures which gave me the idea to write a book about him.

I didn’t have a clue about the literacy world when I started and I wasn’t very good at English at school although I did once get an A star on a story I wrote in my GCSE. There are always challenges in everything you do. Fortunately I have proof-readers and my parents to read my books before they go to print.

This year I have been working on a new book ‘Little Alf & The Farm Yard Friends’. This book tells the tale of Little Alf on the farm. He takes you on a journey to meet his friends. If you follow me online, you’ll notice a few familiar characters in the story. I hope to be able to write more books this year about Little Alf and his magical adventures.

The book is aimed at children under 6 years old and is full of illustrations. It will make a great bedtime story and ideal for first time readers. You can pre order online via the Hannah, Little Alf & Friend’s website. https://www.hannahlittlealfandfriends.com/
