Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum

Prefect for this time of year as the nights draw in and the autumnal weather takes hold, Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum will be just right for staying indoors with the fire glowing.

It is probably best sipped rather than making a longer drink with different mixers.

It has a smooth, very velvety finish and for my palate is a lot sweeter than other spiced rums although it does have a little kick and the vanilla flavour certainly dominates.

It brings the very best rums from Guyana and Trinidad together with a distinctive combination of spices. One tastes nutmeg, cinnamon and raison and as the notes say there is a hint of cardamon,

The company's mission is to help save the Hawksbill turtle while bringing joy to the people with the rum. 10% of profits from every bottle sale goes towards turtle conservation projects in the Caribbean which help protect the environment of the Hawksbill Turtle and preserve its future.

Why not try a R’n’R Colada – a twist on the classic!

Method
37.5ml Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum
50ml half & half
12.5ml fig liqueur

Shake all ingredients first with ice, strain from the ice and shake again. Dirty pour and garnish with a pineapple leaf and grated nutmeg.
