It's time to put on your Christmas jumper and help kids in the UK and around the world get the best future ever.

There's more to Christmas Jumper Day than wearing a silly jumper. You'll be helping children facing serious issues like war, hunger and poverty.

And this year, with so many children having a really tough time, getting involved matters more than ever.

When was the first Christmas Jumper Day?

In 2012 the Save the Children charity decided to have a day in December when people could donate £2 in order to try and make the world a better place for children in the UK and around the world. The first Christmas Jumper Day was on 14 December 2012.

Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive knit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve.

By dressing up and being silly you'll be helping kids facing serious issues like war, hunger and poverty. Find out more about the children you'll be helping.
