Bussell Has A Ball In Budapest!

Royal Ballet principal and Strictly Come Dancing judge, Dame Darcey Bussell, will trip the light fantastic in Vienna and Budapest this April as part of a dance-themed river cruise down the Danube.

The special eight-day journey – Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours’ ‘Dance down the Danube river cruise’ - departs 8 April 2020 with prices starting from £3,240 and featuring discounts of £1,000 for each couple.

Starting out in the fascinating Bavarian city of Nuremberg, the itinerary takes guests through Regensburg, Linz and Passau with the chance to visit the medieval Czech city of Cesky Krumlov or continue the musical theme with a visit to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, before cruising onto Vienna for a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Scenic guests will join Darcey at the opulent Palais Liechtenstein for an exclusive night to remember – a private evening concert featuring the music of Strauss, Mozart and Beethoven, and performances of classical ballet and Viennese waltz, hosted by Darcey herself.

Darcey will then accompany travellers down the river to Budapest, where guests will explore the city or journey to nearby Szentendre, known for its museums and galleries. While in Budapest, guests will be delighted with an exclusive on-board event at which Darcey will partake in a conversation reflecting on her life and career.
