Beat Blue Monday With A 40% Cruise Discount

Today is officially the most depressing day of the year…….just in case you had thought about booking a holiday to warmer climes!

Blue Monday is the name given to a day in January - typically the third Monday of the month - said to be the most depressing day of the year.

The concept was first publicised as part of a 2005 holiday company press release in which marketing gurus claimed to have calculated the date using an equation!

Now, Scenic Cruises are using Blue Monday as a marketing opportunity, claiming that their river sailings help reduce anxiety, depression and stress. They are also throwing in a 40% discount.

Guests can recharge at the on-board wellness centre, complete with massage services and facial treatments. Alternatively, guests who like to stay active to heighten their endorphins can take part in one of the many shore excursions including city walking tours and invigorating guided hikes. The on-board gym facilities are also equipped for cardio workouts.

On top of this, guests sailing through Europe can also enjoy the all-weather vitality pool, fitness centre and spa, complete with a complimentary, innovative Salt Therapy Lounge and private one-on-one yoga sessions as they save up to 40% on all 2020 European River Cruises as well as free door-to-door private chauffeur transfers.

Discover Europe on an eight day cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg and escape reality with dockings at Regensburg, Salzburg, Melk and Vienna along the way.
Prices start at £1,970 per person (based on the 07 May 2020 departure).
